Sail Amalfi Coast with Tryps

DAY 01

Welcome to Italy!

Your adventure starts in Salerno! Located on the Tyrrhenian Sea, this city dates back to prehistoric times. The town marks the start of the Amalfi coast and is a popular destination for the rich and the famous. Medieval churches blend seamlessly with ‘trattorias’ and fashionable boutiques. The seaside boulevard is full of greenery and is considered the most beautiful harbour in Europe. Upon arrival you’ll be greeted by your Skipper and Trip Leader and meet the rest of your crew. This first day will be dedicated to settling into your yacht, gathering groceries with your crew, and preparing for your sailing adventure along the Amalfi Coast.

DAY 02

Positano

After breakfast on the yacht, you and your crew will undergo a brief orientation led by your Skipper. You’ll learn some basic sailing etiquette, lyngo, and skills. All aboard! We set sail to the amazing Positano, one of the gems of the Amalfi Coast! For dinner, we will visit the famous La Tagliata Restaurant picturesquely situated on a steep mountainous slope, right above the sea. Positano is a city full of narrow (and steep!) streets, boutiques, shops and pubs. And the view from the yacht over the city at night is worth every sin!

DAY 03

Capri

The exclusive island of Capri has been a resort destination since the Roman Republic. There you will enjoy the finest beaches and charming villas as you rub shoulders with some of the most elite tourists on the continent. This is the place to spoil yourself and sip a Martini amidst the gorgeous coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. After spending the day on the island, we will sail to the small island of Procida and watch a stunning sunset. Afterwards, we drop our anchors and host our own raft party in the water!

DAY 04

Ischia

The largest and most developed island in the Bay of Naples, Ischia is also home to a dormant volcano and is known for its mineral-rich thermal waters. There you will find gorgeous orchards, ancient necropolises, and countless vineyards. For the extra curious, you can rent a scooter or a car and make a mini road trip around the island to explore and enjoy the amazing views of Naples, Pompei, and Mount Vesuvius. This day will be yours for exploration with plenty of sites to visit like the historic Ischia Castle, the luscious Mortella Gardens, and the Negombo thermal baths.

DAY 05

Sorrento

The elegant city of Sorrento is a dazzling destination known for its fabulous hotels, cafes, and romantic allure. Here, you will not find even one beach, as the entire city is perched atop a cliff with sweeping sea views. What you will find is a bustling shopping district, excellent restaurants and a thriving nightlife to explore with your crew!

DAY 06

Amalfi

Today’s Amalfi is a charming and historically rich town nestled among breathtaking cliffs that plunge into the sea. It is hard to believe that it was once a maritime commercial superpower. Italian natives refer to the hillside city as the “pearl of the Mediterranean”. Your visit to Amalfi will reward you with a peek into the region’s lemon cultivation, iconic narrow alleyways carved into steep rock, tranquil beaches, and a plethora of authentic eating and drinking establishments, making it difficult to leave. We’ll visit an authentic lemon farm to learn about the lemon industry in Italy and taste every imaginable lemon-inspired treat - including the infamous limoncello native to Amalfi.

DAY 07

Ravello

Today we make our way back to our starting point of Salerno. But, not without first stopping in the small town Ravello. Take a walk through the city into Terraza Del Infinito, a beautiful middle age village with luscious gardens and vistas for one last dose of the country’s coastline. Along the way back, we’ll find the perfect spot to take a break, jump in the water and celebrate one incredible week at sea!

DAY 08

Salerno

Today we dock the boat at port and pack our bags. We head back home with amazing memories and a new travel family. A sailor’s salute to the crew! Where one journey ends, another Tryp begins.
